On Not Finishing Things

· Matias Roos · Practice Projects Patience

Completion is a useful illusion. Publicly, I often present things as finished because people expect a line.

In truth I keep two sets of shelves: what is shared, and what is still open.

The open shelf is where the better ideas are kept, because they are still receiving weather.

The room is less tidy than the calendar and more useful because of that.
